“The first flight took place at 12:20 Moscow time and lasted more than 20 minutes,” the ministry noted. At the same time, Business Insider points to the words of Russian developers, who previously stated that the new drone will be the prototype of the sixth-generation fighter, which implies its ability to fight in the air. At the same time, such American aircraft are designed exclusively for striking ground targets, since they are an easy target for enemy fighters.

The media notes that if the drone will be used together with the Su-57 fighter, then Russia may complicate the task for the US military, which, according to Business Insider, has unravelled all the capabilities of Russian aircraft.

The interlocutors of the publication note that the new weapon will be the fastest and heaviest Russian drone. Its speed will reach 1000 km / h and weigh up to 20 tons. Because of this, foreign experts say, developers will have to solve a number of problems related to aerodynamics, electronics and other technological issues. At the same time, according to the publication's interlocutors, the drone needs small precision-guided weapons, the creation of which may also take time.
