Stadia has been officially available for around a month and Google has recently added a few new games, especially Borderlands 3. But here the next embarrassment is Google. Because the loot shooter from Gearbox corresponds to the patch status from the end of October.

Borderlands 3 is undoubtedly one of the games of the year. To the displeasure of many PC gamers, the title was initially only available through the many unloved Epic Games Store.

Now there is an alternative option because the Gearbox game is now also available via Stadia and can therefore also be played on a PC. But here Google and/or Gearbox make another mistake.

Problems don't end

And the list of Stadia missteps is growing and growing, Google's cloud gaming service has had numerous problems since launch. In the case of Borderlands 3, it is now the case that a version that was around two months out of date was published on Stadia.

Because as far as the patch status is concerned, a version of the end of October was released on the Google service (via polygon ).

This means that, among other things, the Mayhem 4-level, additional bank space and expanded endgame content are not on board. That's not necessarily Google's fault, because Gearbox is still responsible for the game.

No 4k60 here either

This probably also applies to another circumstance, which causes a lot of displeasure among players: Because on Reddit there are several complaints that Borderlands 3 also keeps the Stadia promise of a resolution of 4k and a frame rate of 60fps, but only with 4k 30 frames per second runs.

Google promised in full beforehand that all games will run at 4k60, meanwhile, several prominent games have broken that. Here, too, the search engine giant is shifting responsibility towards the developers responsible for the games, but the damage to the image is enormous, especially for Stadia.
