In short, right-clicking an icon in the system tray displays a part of the context menu directly below the taskbar, making it impossible to click the options below.

This bug happens from time to time in various applications, which shows that it is not necessarily related to the application, but to how the context menu of the system tray icon is displayed. However, for certain applications, such as Pidgin Instant Messenger, it occurs more frequently.

It is reported that this bug has existed in the era of Windows XP, and it has been surprising that it has not been resolved for so many years.
