AMD has created chaos in the ranks of its new graphics card

As we recently learned, AMD decided to accelerate the Radeon RX 5600 XT graphics card due to the cheaper GeForce RTX 2060. AMD released a new BIOS with higher frequencies, which, as we have seen, provide a performance increase of about 10-11%.

Sapphire has already updated the parameters of its only model RX 5600 XT. But, as we learned the day before yesterday, it is not a fact that all manufacturers will do it.

AMD has created chaos in the ranks of its new graphics card

Today, PowerColor joined Sapphire, which has three RX 5600 XT models in stock. And it is precise with the example of PowerColor that it is clearly visible what will ultimately be happening with the new AMD graphics card.

So, the younger PowerColor model called the Radeon RX5600XT has not changed. Its frequencies are 1560-1620 MHz for the core and 12 GHz for memory.

The Red Dragon Radeon RX5600XT model has the same GPU frequencies, but its memory runs at an increased frequency of 14 GHz.

And only the top version of the Red Devil Radeon RX5600XT boasts both an increased memory frequency and an overclocked GPU. In this case, up to the frequencies of 1650-1750 MHz.

As a result, PowerColor has three versions of the RX 5600 XT with a noticeable spread of frequencies and, as a result, performance. Yes, any model always has and will be factory-dispersed versions. But often this overclocking is not as impressive as in the case of the RX 5600 XT and leads to a not so noticeable increase in performance.

Immediately, in fact, the market will receive a large number of video cards with the same name, but with a performance spread of 10-11%, or even more.
