AMD Radeon RX 5900 XT leaves GeForce RTX 2080 Ti no chance

This will allow her to compete even with the next generation of Nvidia graphics cards.

Generations of AMD Navi graphics cards do not enter the market the way they usually do. The RX 5700 and RX 5700 XT were introduced in early summer, the RX 5500 XT was released just a couple of weeks ago, and the RX 5600 XT is expected in January. Thus, for half a year AMD was not able to bring a full line of graphics cards for all segments.

But sooner or later the line will be formed. And the greatest interest, of course, is the “big” Navi, which will allow the creation of top-level video cards.

Various rumours ascribe to him various names. New data indicate that this will be the Navi 21 GPU. This GPU will supposedly have an area of about 505 mm2 and will allow you to create a video card that will be twice as productive as the current Navi flagships. This video card supposedly gets GDDR6 memory.

If we correlate this data with reality, it turns out that the video card on the Navi 21, which is usually called the RX 5900 XT, will be approximately 40-50% more productive than the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti. And in this case, she will even be able to compete with the flagship of the next generation of Nvidia adapters, which will be released in 2020.
