The iPhone 12 has a new statement, continuing the design of the iPhone 11 series, which is thinner than the iPhone 11 series. The main difference is the camera.

The news comes from Japanese technology blog MacOtakara, and it is reported that the source comes from Apple's supply chain in China. Both MacOtakara and Guo Mingzhen had accurately predicted the news of Guoxin's iPhone, but this time there were differences.

MacOtakara's latest news is consistent with previous Guo Mingyu's predictions, but there are also differences.

For example, MacOtakara believes that the iPhone 12 looks similar to last year's iPhone 11, and Guo Mingqi predicted that the iPhone 12 will have a mid-frame design similar to the iPhone 4.

The specific summary is as follows:

The 6.7-inch model has a thickness of 7.4mm, which is nearly 10% thinner than the iPhone 11 Pro Max (8.1mm) ; the height is slightly higher than the iPhone 11 Pro Max.

All four new iPhone models use OLED screens and Face ID ;

The height of the 5.4-inch model is between iPhone SE and iPhone 8, and the height of the 6.1-inch model is between iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro.

5.4-inch and 6.1-inch low-end models will use the same rear dual-lens as the iPhone 11 ;

The 6.7-inch model will be equipped with a triple rear lens and a CMOS sensor larger than the iPhone 11 Pro Max;

5.4-inch, 6.7-inch, and at least one 6.1-inch models will have different numbers of microphone holes on the bottom.

According to previous news, Apple will launch four iPhone 12 this year, including 5.4-inch iPhone 12, 6.1-inch iPhone 12 Plus, 6.1-inch iPhone 12 Pro and 6.7-inch iPhone Pro Max.

Barclays analysts pointed out in a report that the iPhone 12 series will continue to use the upgraded Face ID, while the iPhone 12 Pro will use the new ToF lens.

All four new models will be equipped with A14 Bionic chips. The new processor will use TSMC's new 5nm EUV process, which has stronger performance and lower power consumption. TSMC said that under the same power consumption, 5nm will improve the performance of 7nm chips by 15%.

This also makes the A14 superior in technology to most Android flagships. Qualcomm Snapdragon 865, Samsung Exynos 990 and MediaTek Teana 1000 all use 7nm process.

The only 5nm process that may be upgraded is Huawei's Kirin 1020 SoC, which will be launched by Huawei Mate40 series.

In addition, in terms of memory, Apple will catch up with the mainstream level of Android. The latest report claims that the iPhone 12 Pro's memory capacity will increase by 50% to 6GB.
