My daughters and I would like to thank the millions who have supported and cared for us during this difficult time. Thank you all for your prayers.

We absolutely need them. Suddenly lost my beloved husband, Kobe, the good father of the children, and we fell into great sorrow; and my beautiful and lovely Jaina, a lovely and considerate daughter, is also Natalia, Bianca and Capri's good sister.

We are also saddened by the families who lost their loved ones on Sunday, and we empathize with them. No language is sufficient to describe our suffering now. The good news is that both Kobe and Jaina know they are so loved. We are so lucky to have them in our lives. I hope they stay with us forever. But reality snatched them from us prematurely.

I'm not sure what our lives will look like today, and I can't imagine life without them. But when we wake up every day, we still try to stay strong, because Kobe and our dear daughter Jaina are lighting the way for us.

Our love for them is endless and inestimable. I just hope I can hug them, kiss them, and bless them. Let them stay with us forever.

Thank you for sharing your joy, sadness, and support with us. We ask you to give us the necessary respect and privacy to let us move forward in this new reality.

To commemorate our Mamba family, the Mamba Sports Foundation established the Mamba Fund to help other families affected by this tragedy.

Thank you very much for supporting us in prayer, and thank you for loving Kobe, Jaina, Natalia, Bianca, Capri and me.
