Master Lu's 2019 PC processor rankings released: AMD 32-core 64-thread monster wins

On January 8, Master Lu released the 2019 PC processor rankings. The list shows that following the 2018 annual performance championship, AMD Ryzen Threadripper 2990WX with 32 cores and 64 threads has once again won the 2019 consumer processor performance championship of PC processors.

This 32-core monster has an average score of more than 440,000 points, which is 70,000 points higher than the second-ranked Intel Core i9-9980XE, becoming Master Lu's strongest CPU of the year.

The top ten on the list are AMD Ryzen Threadripper 2950X, 1950X, AMD Ryzen 9 3900X, Intel Core i9 9900X, AMD Ryzen 7 3800X, Intel Core i9-7900X, AMD Ryzen 7 3700X, Intel Core i9-9900KF.

In addition, in the 2019 annual consumer CPU performance ranking TOP30, AMD has 16 products on the list, and Intel has 14 products on the list. In terms of quantity, AMD has achieved its small goal of overtaking Intel.

According to the rankings, the AMD Ryzen 3000 series has grabbed a lot of Intel's high-end CPU shares because of its outstanding performance and high-cost performance. The most powerful 3900X in this series averaged more than 260,000.

Master Lu said that the overall list layout is more balanced. AMD and Intel have their own products with C ranks at all stages. In the past, the situation of a monopoly or exclusive performance stage no longer exists.

However, in the popular desktop CPUs, AMD has only two models on the list, and Intel continues to dominate the list. At present, the lowest price of i5 and i7 is only a little over a thousand, which is the most mainstream purchase option. AMD Ryzen 5 2600 and AMD Ryzen 5 3600 have become the two CPUs with the most users in the AMD camp.

The Intel Core i5-9400F uses 6 cores, 6 threads, and 14nm technology, and the maximum core frequency reaches 4.1GHz, which is very suitable for users who need graphics cards with higher performance than the core. The official boxed price of around 1100 yuan has captured many users and has become the most popular processor among thousands of CPUs.

In the notebook field, Intel Core i7-9750H has become the darling of the market. The i7-9750H belongs to the 9th generation Core family, uses 6 cores and 12 threads, and has an acceleration frequency of 4.5GHz. The gap between the i7-9750H and 8th generation product lines such as the 8750H is small. It is currently the most common processor for 6000-8000 yuan gaming notebooks.
