But while they are not indicative

Intel has not yet introduced the Comet Lake desktop processors. According to recent rumours, such CPUs will be released in April, although the announcement, of course, may take place earlier.

Recall that these processors will switch to the LGA 1200 socket, but retain the current 14-nanometer process technology and architecture.

Despite the fact that the processors were not presented, leaks associated with these CPUs periodically appear on the Web. And now we can take a look at the test results of a couple of such models. Their names are still unknown, but we know that we are talking about ten-core and six-core models.

As you can see, the results are extremely disappointing, but it is worth considering several nuances. Firstly, the frequencies of these CPUs are clearly far from final. Secondly, enthusiasts used a motherboard based on the B460 chipset, and they note that the processors under test are not yet optimized for working with this set of logic.

But the temperature regime is interesting now. Even at low frequencies, the models warmed up to 51-53 degrees under load, that is, when working at normal frequencies, the temperatures will be significantly higher.
