Official pictures leaked: Sony ZV-1 Vlogger camera looks like

It will probably be an RX100 for VLogger. What Sony wants to present to us next week on May 26 has already landed on the web in official render images. The Sony ZV-1 seems to be strongly based on the popular but not exactly cheap RX100 VII but is much better suited for Vlogging.

Official pictures leaked: Sony ZV-1 Vlogger camera looks like

That was to be expected - the pictures below now show us what the "new compact camera" will look like before Sony's launch date on May 26. It was already known that Sony calls it ZDV1 and thus specifically addresses Vlogger. The new leak confirms that it is facing the RX100 VII with video logging extensions.

Of course, you can flip the monitor to watch yourself filming, there is also a hot shoe for mounting an external microphone. A large red button replaces the mini button at the start of the recording, eye autofocus is of course back on board, and the ND filter is also making a comeback.

According to leaked specs, Sony relies on a 20-megapixel 1-inch sensor and a 24-70 mm zoom lens with F / 1.8 - 2.8 aperture, which means that the ZV-1 is more likely to move back in the direction of RX100 III ( at Amazon ) ( the RX100 VII offers 24-200x zoom). Also new is a special "bokeh button". The new pictures now show a convenient, probably optional, handheld with a practical remote control function.
